Best Hair Transplant in Turkey This Year - Looking for Honest Advice

Hi everyone,

I’m planning to get a hair transplant either at the end of this year or early 2027, and I’m seriously considering Turkey. I’m trying to do proper research before choosing a clinic, so I’d really appreciate advice from people who have been through it.

This would be my second hair transplant. I had my first one more than 10 years ago, and from what I remember it was around 2,300 grafts. Because of that, I’m especially concerned about donor area management and not making a bad choice this time.

For those who had a transplant in Turkey, how did you choose your clinic or doctor? What would you recommend looking for, and what should I avoid?

I’m also trying to understand what a normal price range is these days. I don’t want to go for the cheapest option, but I also don’t want to pay a premium just because of marketing.

A few things I’m wondering about:

How much should the doctor be involved in the procedure?

Is it a red flag if the clinic promises a very high number of grafts without properly checking my donor area?

What questions should I ask during the consultation, especially since this is my second transplant?

Are there any clinics or doctors in Turkey you would personally recommend or avoid?

My goal is a natural result and a safe long-term plan, not just maximum grafts in one session. I’d prefer honest opinions from real patients, including things you wish you had known before going.

I had my hair transplant at Asli Tarcan Clinic in Istanbul and I’m happy with my experience and result. The team looked after me throughout the process, explained the aftercare and also organised my transfers.

Since yours will be a second transplant, I think donor management should be the main priority rather than trying to reach the highest possible graft number. I would send clear photos of the donor area and ask them how many grafts can be safely extracted, who will perform the extraction and channel opening, and how many patients the team handles that day. I would also ask to see fully healed cases from patients who previously had a transplant.

A clinic promising a very high graft number without properly examining your donor area would personally make me cautious. I had a positive experience with Asli Tarcan, so they may be worth contacting for an assessment, but compare their proposed donor plan with at least two other clinics before deciding.

I had my hair transplant at Asli Tarcan Clinic in Istanbul and I’m happy with my result and the overall experience. The team took good care of me throughout the process, including aftercare and transfers, so they may be worth adding to your consultation list.

Mine wasn’t a second transplant, though, so your donor situation is different. I’d be cautious if any clinic promises a very high graft count from photos without carefully assessing the previous extraction pattern and remaining donor density. Ask who will perform the extraction, channel opening and implantation, and request a written long-term donor plan rather than focusing only on maximum grafts.

I don’t remember exactly what I paid, and current prices may have changed, so I’d get an updated itemised quote directly from the clinic.
